Playing Experience
Growing up in New Jersey, I played on various, competitive youth soccer teams and spent most of my weekends traveling to games and tournaments across the northeast. I played varsity soccer for Bridgewater-Raritan High School and was an all-state selection my senior year. I played soccer for the Cornell University team during my freshman year and then played on the club soccer team for the next three years. I also spent a semester abroad in Brisbane, Australia and played for the University of Queensland Soccer Club there. After graduating from Cornell, I moved to San Diego and joined the Silver Backs Futball Club, playing on multiple women's and coed, indoor and outdoor teams.
Coaching Experience
I served as President of the Cornell Club Soccer Team during my junior and senior years, acting simultaneously as manager, coach, captain, and center halfback. We were the top team in our conference and qualified for the National Collegiate Soccer Club Championships each year. While in San Diego, I worked at the North County Soccer Park as a soccer instructor in their Lil' Kickers Program. This is a youth soccer development program for children ages 2-9 which follows a curriculum designed by soccer players and child development professionals. I hold the NSCAA Advanced Regional Diploma.
Coaching Philosophy
As a coach, I strive to provide the individual attention required for players to develop superior technical skills, a strong work ethic, and, most importantly, a love of the game.
