Trapped Player Opportunities With the change to birth year by US Soccer creating issues for players in 8th grade, the Alliance clubs are working together to form trapped year player teams. Teams will play under the Alliance umbrella in an effort to form more developmentally appropriate teams, with opportunities for play in leagues/tournaments etc. Players with an alliance club-should register with their member club for tryouts and attend the tryouts in July. Players not with an alliance club-should register under the alliance tryout registration and attend tryouts in July. If you have questions about either the Fall-Boys 2006 or Spring-Girls 2006 please reach out to doc@illinoisfc.com. Alliance Structure We will operate with a "Player first focus," with representatives from each club overseeing the well-being of the program and development of the players. We will launch with three member clubs but all players are welcome. We will utilize a neutral uniform with club logos on the shirt. Players' last names will be on game shirts to help with player identification. Staff Coaches will be from member clubs & local collegiate staff, all licensed coaches with experience coaching high level players. High Level Curriculum developed for new programming with guidance from each member club and Chicago Fire FC with training offered in each member club location. Programming Options We anticipate the following programming and events.
