Dear Illinois FC parents:
The 2014 Illinois FC Fall Cup tournament will be held on October 10-12, 2014. The purpose of this message is (i) to let you know your family's possible job assignments for the Fall Cup tournament and (ii) to request your family's availability for volunteer duties during the tournament. Your availability information for the October 10-12 weekend will help us develop a final volunteer schedule that will avoid overlap with your player's games and with your family's schedule. The specific times and locations for your volunteer duties will be made available soon after the final tournament schedule is released - on or about October 5, 2014.

Attached to this message are the possible Fall Cup volunteer job assignments for families of Illinois FC players.
Listed for each family are three volunteer job possibilities -- your family will be assigned to serve one or two of the jobs listed after your family's name based on need and your availability. Illinois FC families are responsible for a maximum of 6 hours of volunteer duty (two 3-hour shifts) during the Fall Cup tournament. In most cases, however, we expect that families will be assigned only one 3-hour shift. Brief descriptions of the different jobs are also included with this message as an attachment, and a copy of these assignments will be posted on the Illinois FC website (http://www.illinoisfc.com/). Volunteer duties are usually served by a parent or a family member who is at least 16 years old.
Please let one of us (Anne and Lance) know by e-mail as soon as possible: (i) if you have an objection to one or both of your tentative job assignments and/or (ii) if there are times that you'll be unavailable for volunteer duty between 4:30 pm and 10:00 pm on Friday, October 10, and between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. on both Saturday, October 11, and Sunday, October 12. We'll do our best to forward final volunteer assignment duties, locations, and times to families by October 5.

Thanks very much in advance for your invaluable help making the Fall Cup tournament successful, and feel free to contact one of us if you have any questions.
